Words cannot express how grateful I am to have had the experience I’ve had doing “The Tempest” this summer. I not only learned a heck of a lot, but more importantly I got to create a pretty awesome bond with an amazing group/troupe of amazing people who also happen to be amazingly talented individuals. Thank you everyone who came, everyone who worked on the show, and everyone in the show. Y’all are the tops. I love your faces mucho. :)

Tonight just got a bit more awesome. Not only did I write more of Imaginary Life, which is turning out to be a slower process than usual (yet is turning out a better product than the first time), but I just got a call from my Stage Manager asking me if I was okay with taking on another small part in The Tempest (Spoiler Alert: I happily agreed). For being the laziest day ever, it actually turned out to be quite awesome indeed! :) 

So just as I was about to drift to slumber my phone vibrates, telling me I got a new email. Curiously and cautiously I check the message, and low and behold it’s an email from the stage manager for Richard III this summer with an attached cast list. Naturally, I’m taken aback, and think it’s a mistake because I didn’t even FINISH my audition let alone get a callback, but there is my name plain as day on the cast list. I’m totally floored right now, and confused, but mostly tired so I’m going to sleep. But I just wanted to share this news and my utter amazement.

Congrats to everyone who made the list! You’re all amazing, and totally deserve it.
